Elisa Gabbert
Elisa Gabbert is the author of six collections of poetry and essays including Normal Distance (Soft Skull Press, 2022), The Unreality of Memory (FSG, 2020), and The Word Pretty (Black Ocean, 2018). She writes a regular poetry column for the New York Times, and her writing has appeared in the New York Review of Books, Harper’s, A Public Space, American Poetry Review, New England Review, and elsewhere. She lives in Denver.
