David Grundy is a poet and scholar based in London. His books of poetry include Relief Efforts (2018), To The Reader (2016) and The Problem, The Questions, The Poem (2015). He is also author of the work of criticism, A Black Arts Poetry Machine: Amiri Baraka and the Umbra Poets (2019). He previously studied and taught at the University of Cambridge and is now a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Warwick. He co-runs the small press materials and the magazine Splinter, and his poetic and critical work has also appeared or is forthcoming in Tripwire, Damn the Caesars, Jacket 2, Artforum, and Chicago Review.
